Dangit I've Been Busy!
I hate when a week or two goes by and I don't get blog entries in -- GRR! Of course everyone knows why so I won't even bother explaining away myself (#$*%& work).
Here's a rundown before I mobile blog for the next five days -- of which I PROMISE I will be blogging my tail off! No pics since it'll be on my BlackBerry but I'll do what I can! The pics will come next week, promise.
Going to Hawaii tomorrow morning, Wednesday - Sunday. Chuck's coming along too, and it'll be his first trip there. All he wants I think is some sun, surf, and raw crab poke. This will be my first vacation that I have not brought a laptop with me. That's a biggie for me, and is a testament to the fact that I'm overworked and kinda sick of seeing a computer.
But I'm not sick of seeing my gadgets! Here are the lil gadgets that I will be bringing along with me -- so I'm not *totally* unwired ;-)

I have not forgotten BikerFox, who we saw at the Tulsa State Fair riding around on his front tire last Sunday, lol. Definitely gotta do an entry when I get back -- it'll take come compilations of pictures. But click on Placid Peninsula for a sweet BF collage of photos *grins*.

Chuck here... So here's the deal. We didn't get to surf - the closest we got was Shari's brother body surfing while we just swam - we just ran out of time. However, while in the ocean neither her dad nor brother tried to drown me, which I'm taking as a good sign. heh
Anyway, I'll let Shari fill in on the trip, but here's a quick update on why you haven't seen a blog entry. The flight to Salt Lake had filled up, so Saturday afternoon we had to head to the Honolulu airport to fly all night to Atlanta, getting there very early and then to catch a flight back to Tulsa. It wasn't bad, just long. So we crashed at the townhouse the rest of Sunday. Then Monday was busy trying to catch up with work. Monday night I took my two employees out to dinner - and got food poisoning. Typical woman, Shari ignored what I told her ;-) and stayed upstairs with me thru the night instead of going to bed. So Tuesday she is really beat, but we're both doing a little better on Wednesday. She got home after band practice (DH is playing the grand opening of Stage 3 tonight!) feeling okay but a little bit later started to come down with what seems to be a stomach bug - similar to my Monday night, except not as violently ill and she aches all over. So yesterday she stayed home. This morning I kicked her out and made her go to work. heh heh But we're both still dragging - it's going to be a long weekend - since she has to gig and I have to work a holiday show for a liquor wholesaler client and I also have a Monday deadline for another. (The part that really stinks is that my stomach is still not right and there are all kinds of free samples and snacks at the show! And normally when I'm not doing a presentation on the new technology we've implemented I'm sampling...)
Anyway, that's the summary of what's been going on - I'm sure Shari will blog soon.

I waited all summer for that show so I could tag along and have some fun and now I'm sick.
